He graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a Master’s of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine and a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. He also earned a bachelors degree in Biology and Psychology from Loyola University Chicago.
While initially bound for Western Medical school, Andrew has consistently turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine as the only natural place offering balance and harmony for both his personal and professional life. Life on the side of holistic care means avoiding pharmaceuticals when possible, avoiding expensive and unnecessary testing, and taking a proactive approach to the maintenance and generation of health. He is excited to share his passion for health and to help others attain their own perfect state of health and wellness.
While still in graduate school, Andrew had the opportunity to work with the first of its kind UCSD Student Run Free Project in San Diego. This clinic is free, collaborative, and a completely integrated environment where under-served populations are able to utilize acupuncture, allopathic medicine, dental services, legal counsel, and social services. Those experiences transitioned into working with Seattle’s Neighborcare 45th Street Clinic,Tent City 3 clinic, ROOTS Young Adult Shelter, and Country Doctor Youth Clinic. Many of these clinics are under the direction of Integrative Care Outreach (ICO) where Andrew previously served as the Chair of the Board and Director of Practitioners. He has a passion for elevating public health and empowering people to direct their own care.

From her childhood, growing up in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, Dr. Jolie always had a passion for physical activity and learning. These factors allowed her to travel and pursue a career in education, teaching both Spanish and English worldwide. This spirit of adventure and love of the outdoors eventually led her to Colorado. In this transition, she decided on a career change and followed another lifelong interest in healthcare. Dr. Jolie initially trained as a massage therapist and eventually chose to enroll in advanced studies in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Even before graduation, Jolie recognized the need for better integration of Eastern and Western philosophies and the need to make Eastern medicine concepts more accessible to both patients and physicians. She had the opportunity to address this need while initially working in a pain clinic, collaborating with Western physicians, chiropractors, and physical therapists with great success in Colorado. Education remains central in Dr. Jolie’s treatment approach. She strives to empower her patients with a deeper understanding of human health, what acupuncture can contribute, and where to find other areas of expertise to achieve their goals. Clinical modalities include gentle needling techniques, guasha, fire cupping, tuina, shiatsu, acupressure, myofascial release, electrostimulation, auriculotherapy, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations from Western and Eastern medical herbalism. Dr. Jolie specializes in orthopedic and sports medicine and has a strong clinical interest in women’s health. She has experience with fertility acupuncture, prenatal and postnatal massage, and menopause acupuncture treatments. Her doctoral work led her to specialize in treating traumatic brain injury, neuro-endocrine disorders, and post-concussion syndrome.
